ABOUT US
Roadrunner Motorparts commenced trading on 1st March 1983 at the old Post Office shop at Church Village, Pontypridd, South Wales. Initially with one delivery van and two employees, we supplied local garages with an immediate delivery service, which in those days was unique as all other motor factors were offering a morning or afternoon delivery only.
We quickly established ourselves as 'the main player' within our area and by 1990 were operating with 6 staff and 4 delivery vans.
With continual increase in business came the necessity for large stock range, so eventually we outgrew the shopped new premises was sought.
We moved to our current site in 1993, just 200 yards from the old Post Office. The move enabled us to develop more retail space, this included a large shop area and garage workshop facilities.
Over the years our business has transformed and developed from being a supplier of standard car parts to a specialist in the latest car accessories and a major stockist of alloy wheels and tyres, the latter of which has earned us a reputation nationwide.
We now provide a complete garage service and carry out MOT preparation, vehicle diagnostics, servicing, repairs, tyre fitting, wheel alignment and welding together with the fitment of hands free kits, towbars and alloy wheels. We are the ‘One Stop Motor Store’ !!
We’ve continued to reinvest in additional infrastructure and resources, and, whilst remaining an independent company, we’ve joined forces with some of the leading organisations within the Motor Trade.

The benefits of linking up with these organisations is that we are able to ensure that our staff are kept up to date with the latest trends and are trained in the latest technology, we were one of the first companies within Wales to received hybrid vehicle training from the IGA and our staff are now qualified to service hybrid electric vehicles.
It’s been 3 decades since we opened our doors for the very first time in 1983, in that time we’ve seen many firms and individuals come and go. We’ve also seen many changes in the trade which has shaped the need to change our business in order to stay current and appealing to our customers. We are very proud to have been successfully trading for this length of time - long may it continue!
